This section refers to items that any canine companion (especially Dogmeat) can wear. Welding goggles are one of the easiest eyewear to find, you can often scavenge them from Raiders you kill. Companions will not wear faction apparel and automatically drop it to the ground (this applies to companions who cannot wear armor too). I have no idea how hard something like that would be to implement, but it would be nice. I've tried several different types but haven't found any he would wear. I've seen a picture of him that look like he's wearing RayBan Wayfarers (though I can't find it right now).
He appears to wear … All human or ghoul non-player characters are capable of wearing power armor (i.e. You can turn adult content on in your preference, if you wish. all but Dogmeat, Fawkes & Sergeant RL-3). According to the Dogmeat page on Nukapedia, the only glasses Dogmeat can wear are Welding Goggles.
